
STALLHOLDER INFORMATION
Westland Markets welcomes local businesses, makers, artisans, food vendors, fresh produce sellers, community organisations and other traders to apply for our markets and events across Melbourne’s west.
Our goal is to create a diverse and welcoming mix of stalls while giving small businesses and local traders the opportunity to connect with new customers and be part of vibrant community events.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from a wide range of stallholders, including:

Handmade and artisan products

Food and beverage vendors

All applications are reviewed to ensure a balanced mix of vendors at each event.
Stall Sizes
Standard stall spaces are generally 3m x 3m, unless otherwise stated for a particular event.
Larger spaces may be available for food trucks, trailers or businesses that require additional room. Stallholders must advise us of their full setup requirements when applying.
What Stallholders Need to Provide
Unless otherwise advised, stallholders are responsible for providing their own:

Marquee or gazebo

Tables and chairs
-
Product displays
-
Signage
-
Lighting if required

Extension leads and electrical equipment where approved

Waste bins or suitable waste disposal arrangements

Any equipment required to safely operate the stall
All equipment must be safe, secure and suitable for use at a public event.
Public Liability Insurance
All vendors are required to hold current Public Liability Insurance with a minimum cover of $20 million.
A valid Certificate of Currency may be required before your stall booking is confirmed.
Food Vendors
Food businesses must comply with all relevant food safety, council and registration requirements.
Food vendors may be asked to provide evidence of:

Public Liability Insurance

Any licences or permits required for the products being sold
Food trucks and trailers must also provide accurate dimensions and advise us of any power, water or access requirements.
Electricity
Power availability varies between events.
If you require electricity, this must be declared on your application. Power cannot be guaranteed unless it has been approved and confirmed by the Westland Markets team.
Additional charges may apply where power is provided.
Generators
Generators may be permitted at selected events with prior approval.
Any generator used must be safe, appropriately maintained and positioned in a way that does not create excessive noise, fumes or safety risks for the public or neighbouring stallholders.
Stall Allocation
Stall locations are allocated by the Westland Markets team.
We consider factors such as stall type, event layout, safety, accessibility, power requirements and the overall mix of vendors.
While stallholders may request a preferred location, specific sites cannot be guaranteed.
Weather
Many Westland Markets events are held outdoors and may proceed in light rain or changing weather conditions.
Stallholders should come prepared for outdoor conditions and ensure marquees, displays and equipment are properly secured.
If severe weather or another safety concern affects an event, Westland Markets will communicate any changes to confirmed vendors as soon as practical.
Stall Fees
Stall fees vary depending on the event, stall size, location and type of vendor.
Pricing will be provided on the relevant event or application page.
A stall is not considered confirmed until any required payment and documentation have been received.
Cancellations
Cancellation and refund conditions may vary between events.
Stallholders should review the terms and conditions provided during the booking process before making payment.
