We welcome applications from local businesses, makers, artisans, food vendors, fresh produce sellers, community organisations and other businesses that suit the atmosphere of our markets and events.

How do I apply for a stall?

Vendor applications can be submitted through our online application form. You’ll be asked to provide details about your business, products or services, stall requirements and any relevant licences or permits.

Does submitting an application guarantee me a stall?

No. Applications are reviewed to make sure there is a good mix of vendors at each event. Some categories may be limited to avoid too many similar stalls.

How much does a stall cost?

Stall fees vary depending on the event, location, stall size and vendor type. Current pricing will be listed on the relevant event or vendor application page.

What size are the stalls?

Standard market sites are generally designed around a 3m x 3m space unless otherwise stated. Larger sites may be available for food trucks, trailers or vendors with additional space requirements.

Do I need my own marquee, tables and equipment?

Yes. Unless specifically stated otherwise, vendors are responsible for providing their own marquee, tables, chairs, displays and other equipment required to operate their stall.

Do I need Public Liability Insurance?

Yes. Vendors are required to hold current Public Liability Insurance with cover of up to $20 million before participating in a Westland Markets event. A valid Certificate of Currency may be requested as part of the application or approval process.

Do food vendors need additional permits?

Yes. Food vendors are responsible for ensuring they meet all applicable food safety, council registration, permit and licensing requirements. Evidence of registration or permits may be requested before your booking is confirmed.

Is electricity available?

Electricity availability varies between events. Vendors who require power must advise us when applying. Additional fees may apply, and vendors must not assume power will be available unless it has been confirmed.

Can I bring a generator?

Generators may be permitted at selected events, subject to approval. They must be safe, suitable for public events and operated in a way that minimises noise and risk.

Can I share my stall with another business?

You may let us know about any special requirements, but final stall locations are determined by the Westland Markets team based on site layout, safety, accessibility and overall event planning.

What time do vendors need to arrive?

Vendor bump-in and bump-out times will be provided before each event. Vendors must be fully set up and ready to trade before the advertised opening time.

Can I leave early?

Unless there is an emergency or prior approval has been given, vendors are expected to remain set up for the full advertised trading period.

Most Westland Markets events are planned to proceed in suitable weather conditions. If severe weather or another safety issue affects an event, vendors will be notified as soon as practical.
